advice | pre-game smoothie blue banana hat trick



1/2 cup of milk

1/4 cup frozen blueberries or your favourite frozen fruit

1 ripened banana

2 tsp flax oil

Small handful of raw kale or spinach leaves

Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth.

Tip:  Chef Alison likes to prepare kale ahead of time so it's ready to use in smoothies and other things by washing, removing stems, chopping, and freezing.  Kale is always best when used the day it's brought home, so if you don't have time just freeze it!
